The VOLAN re-entry vehicle (RV) was designed to be injected into suborbital trajectories by the VOLNA LV to conduct experiments under microgravity of 10-5 - 10-6 g. Aboard such RVs studies were performed to produce materials with improved characteristics, biopreparations and to realize other scientific missions. The RV ensures operation and return to Earth of research equipment up to 220 kg.
The newly designed BOLID RV can be offerred to launch research equipment up to 400 kg.
